Sentinel Food & Nutrition

Our Food and Nutrition Department provides healthy and delicious meals to our students, staff, and guests. It is important that we set a good example for our students regarding a healthy diet. Parents, you can help your children develop good habits by encouraging them to eat healthy, nutritious meals both at home and at school. Please note: Effective December 7, 2022, adult breakfast cost is $2.70 and adult lunch cost is $4.75.
*Free language assistance, auxiliary aids, and/or accommodations are available upon request.

National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program

For the 2023–2024 school year, Sentinel Elementary District is participating in the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. Due to the implementation of Provision 2, Sentinel Elementary School will offer healthy meals every school day at no cost to students. Students may participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a household application. For more information, please contact Annette Maynes at (928) 323-3300.
