Sentinel Food & Nutrition

Our Food and Nutrition Department provides healthy and delicious meals to our students, staff, and guests. It is important that we set a good example for our students regarding a healthy diet. Parents, you can help your children develop good habits by encouraging them to eat healthy, nutritious meals both at home and at school. Please note: Effective January 17, 2017, adult breakfast cost is $2.30, and adult lunch cost is $3.65.

National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program

For the 2019–2020 school year, Sentinel Elementary District is participating in the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. Due to the implementation of Provision 2, Sentinel Elementary School will offer healthy meals every school day at no cost to students. Students may participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a household application. Please see our national school breakfast and lunch program letter for additional details.
